Enrolment Process

The enrolment process at EIT Tairﾄ『hiti is simple step-by-step process:

Step 1

Complete and return the EIT Tairﾄ『hiti Polytechnic Enrolment Form – this is required for all full-time study and part-time study in full-time programmes and short programme enrolments.

  • Provide acceptable proof of your legal name, age and citizenship/residence – acceptable proof is a current Passport, Birth Certificate, or New Zealand Certificate of Citizenship;
  • If your married name is different to that listed on your Passport or Birth Certificate, we will also need to see your Marriage Certificate;
  • Please also provide evidence of entry criteria if required.

Step 2

Once our Student Services team have processed your enrolment, you will receive a Tairﾄ『hiti Polytechnic Acceptance Pack. Included in your Acceptance Pack is your acceptance letter, course related costs, invoice for fees and StudyLink information.

Step 3

Organise payment for your fees. Fees can be paid by:

  • Cash, cheque, EFTPOS or credit card;
  • Training Incentive Allowance (TIA) or WINZ payment (conditions apply);
  • Student loan arranged through StudyLink.

Step 4

Commence your studies – please refer to your Acceptance Pack for the programme start date.
