Computer Use Policy
The purpose of this policy is to ensure the provision of computer facilities, and support in using the EIT Tairﾄ『hiti ICT System. The EIT Tairﾄ『hiti IT Services team is responsible for the support, maintenance and development of EIT Tairﾄ『hiti’s information technology infrastructure expressly for supporting Tairﾄ『hiti Polytechnic staff, students, and authorised contractors and external parties in carrying out business activities. Intellectual Property Rights Policy
Tairﾄ『hiti Polytechnic recognises that staff may create new knowledge (intellectual property). Those who create intellectual property, and the polytechnic, each have rights that must be protected in relation to the ownership and use of that intellectual property. The purpose of this policy is to provide a context where development and innovation are encouraged, and the rights and responsibilities of all parties are clearly described and protected.

This policy covers all student concerns and complaints in relation to any aspect of their experience as students enrolled with Tairﾄ『hiti Polytechnic, but excludes complaints concerning harassment, complaints about other students, or academic appeals which are all covered under separate policies. Student Conduct & Discipline Policy
This policy relates to Tairﾄ『hiti Polytechnic student regulations and the need to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students and staff. The institution accepts responsibility for providing and maintaining a work and learning environment free from harassment, bullying, discrimination and objectionable and/or illegal behaviour.
