Viticulture and Wine

Hawke’s Bay is one of New Zealand’s premium wine regions and producing wine that receives international acclaim. Experienced and highly qualified EIT staff offer the widest range of programmes in grapegrowing and winemaking at any tertiary institute in NZ. EIT has two modern purpose-built complexes, including a teaching and research winery, wine sensory laboratory and science laboratories.
