EIT’s course in CBT integrates theory, practice, and professional supervision from a clinical perspective to allow you the skill-set to critique and deliver therapeutic services for inpatient, outpatient and community settings within New Zealand.

You can study online, from anywhere, and attend two three-day workshops on-campus at EIT Hawke’s Bay.
This course is offered as part of the Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma, or Master of Health Science, allowing you to take your career to the next level.

Edmond has taught at EIT since moving to Hawke’s Bay in 2008. Prior to this he was a Senior Lecturer in Humanities at the University of California, Riverside (UCR), from 1981-2007.

A licensed psychotherapist since 1993, Edmond has practiced individual, group, and family therapy, along with clinical supervision, in private practice and for public agencies.

In the private sector Edmond works with large and small businesses, public and private agencies, sporting franchises and associations, in New Zealand and North America, to improve performance, develop resilience, reduce conflict and stress, improve leadership, and raise morale; in the workplace and in daily life.

Professionally, and personally, Edmond is most interested in understanding the multitude of ways that our thoughts, emotions, behaviour, and relationships impact our performance and our health.
