The EIT Diploma in Wine Marketing combines Marketing and Wine courses, which will provide students with the skill and knowledge to enable them to work in the sales and marketing areas of a rapidly expanding New Zealand wine industry. It offers a unique opportunity to combine hands-on winery and vineyard experience with marketing-related courses. Employment opportunities include careers in: - Retail wine sales
- Winery sales representative
- Wine marketing
- Sales consultant.
All courses are held at the EIT campus, with visits to local wineries and vineyards. The programme (120 credits) consists of compulsory and elective courses, at least 72 credits being marketing-related. One credit is equal to 10-12 learning hours.
