Outcomes
The EIT Certificate in Grapegrowing and Winemaking offers you stimulating, practical certificate level studies and provides an entry into work in this area or a pathway to your professional qualification in grapegrowing and/or winemaking.
Employment opportunities in the wine industry are as winery and viticulture workers or in retail and marketing. Students may also apply to enter higher level programmes in this area such as the EIT Bachelor of Wine Science or Bachelor of Viticulture.
Outline
The duration of the programme is approx 20 hours per week of class time over 34 weeks. On average a student would be expected to do one hour of individual study for every classroom hour.
Students need to complete 120 credits to be awarded the certificate.
