Childcare Facilities
At Otatara we aim to provide a service where children and families feel welcome and respected.
You will be assigned a key teacher who takes overall responsibility for the well-being, learning and development of your child and who is the main point of contact for the family.
We provide a calm, natural and nurturing environment with plenty of opportunities for learning and development according to each child’s individual interests and needs.
In our Infant and Toddler (under 2) programme, care moments are perceived as vital learning opportunities. The key teacher takes responsibility for care ensuring that these times are unhurried, nurturing and responsive to children’s emotional and developmental needs.
In our Toddler and Young Children Centre (over 2) we perceive children as active and creative learners, thinkers and investigators. We aim to help them develop a passion for exploration and learning along with the skills needed for enquiry and research.
