Bio

Jocelyn comes from Central Hawke’s Bay and trained as a Community Nurse at Hastings Memorial Hospital, specialised in Gerontology, and also trained as a Diversional Therapist. Since starting teaching, Jocelyn has gained her Certificate in Adult Learning and Teaching (CALT) through EIT, and Bachelor of Health Science Degree through Sydney University, Australia and is currently studying a Graduate Diploma in Education of Students with special teaching needs through Canterbury University. Jocelyn has also worked in a variety of settings as a nurse and a teacher and is Year 2 Lecturer of the Certificate in Work and Life Skills (Polyventure) programme and she looks forward to meeting you and being part of what should be a very exciting journey.
