Ko Ngati Ruapani Ngati HineTu me Tamaterangi oku hapu. Ko Tuhoe raua ko Ngati Kahungunu nga iwi. Ko Mataatua raua ko Takitimu nga waka. Tena Koutou. Ka nui te mihi. Naumai ki tenei wänanga mo te hauora. Kia kaha kia maia kia manawanui i roto i o koutou mahi katoa. I was born in Wairoa and grew up there. My career background began in the Dental Nursing field which was administered by the Department of Health. I completed my Advanced Dental Nursing Diploma in 1980. In 1990 I graduated from the Wellington School of Medicine, Community Health with a Health Education Diploma. I have recently completed my post graduate studies in Māori development and Te Reo Māori. My interests are waiata, art ,sport, and kapa haka. I intend to further develop my studies whanau hapu and iwi aspirations.
