  • Outline

    This programme is designed to be flexible and learner orientated to meet individual trainee’s own areas of
    interest – If you are new to the agricultural industry, with limited industry specific skills or no previous experience this is a great introductory qualification. Courses are delivered as modules and almost any course can serve as an ‘entry point’ for students who are considering embarking on training and study relevant to their initial work focus.

    The Certificate in General Farm Skills Level 2 is an open entry programme, which means no formal academic qualifications are required.

    • A high level of motivation, passion and interest is required.
    • Participants must be aged 16 years +

    International Student Entry Criteria
    Students are required to have attained an acceptable level of English language fluency including basic farming/agricultural terminology. This may be demonstrated in a variety of ways, including successful study in English, approved score on IELTS (5.0 Academic) tests, completion of accepted international equivalents or completion of an EIT Hawke’s Bay assessment.
