Welcome to the webpages for EIT's Food and Wine Centre of Innovation.

The Food and Wine Centre of Innovation has been established to provide a focal point for training, education, research and product development activities for the Hawke's Bay food and wine industries.  The Centre interconnects EIT faculties and programmes to create an infrastructure that is more than the sum of its parts with an impressive array of resources and equipment which are available for use by food and wine industry producers and processors in the Hawke's Bay Region.

In addition to a wide range of education, training and research options, the Centre of Innovation incorporates EIT's recently built winery, catering, hospitality, horticultural and library facilities, well-equipped chemistry and microbiology laboratories and the Food & Wine Visitor Centre.  Other businesses are willing to share their resources and these webpages include a database of industry equipment and facilities that are available throughout the region. 

Whether you need training for you or your staff, the use of a spacious kitchen and specialist equipment to develop your products, have a research project you'd like to discuss or you want to source particular scientific and technical literature, these webpages are a good starting point.  If you can't find what you are looking for, that doesn't mean it isn't available.  Contact us to discuss your requirements in more detail.
