Do you want to extend your business degree to achieve the entry criteria for membership into the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants without having to complete another degree?
With the Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting you’ll gain the theoretical, practical and professional skills required to move into the fast-paced world of numbers, ratios and dollars. You’ll put your new skills to practice preparing and examining financial records, assessing financial operations and ensuring organisations are running efficiently.
Brendan Solomon, Bachelor of Business Studies Graduate
I have always had an interest in how companies and organisations operate and how activities are managed. I want to give myself every opportunity to be successful in whatever business area I move into.
I am a part-time lecturer and presently teach Employment Relations. My background is in Law and Human Resource Management. My legal practice experience has centred on employment law. Prior to that I had 22 years with two major corporates in most aspects of human resource management, particularly industrial relations.
Our classes are relatively small with supportive teaching on a pleasant campus.
At degree level, we offer a good range of majors including Accounting, Marketing, Management and Information Systems. The School of Business is a fully accredited education provider for all three Colleges of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.
