  
Students may choose to rent accommodation together with friends after they have been in New Zealand for a while and feel more comfortable with New Zealand culture. Students need to have a good level of English before they go flatting as they will need to be able to understand the Tenancy Agreement, organise payment of bills and communicate clearly with the landlord. Costs will vary depending on the quality of your accommodation and whether you prefer to live on your own or have shared accommodation.
